Red Bull presented its 2026 Formula 1 livery in Detroit on 15 January 2026. The event marked the first official public look at the team’s colours for its new Ford-linked era.
Red Bull used Detroit as the stage for one of the most symbolic presentations of the 2026 pre-season. On 15 January, Oracle Red Bull Racing revealed its new livery at Michigan Central Station, giving the public its first official look at the colours that would front the team’s new era with Ford.

Detroit placed the launch directly alongside Ford, the manufacturer tied to Red Bull’s new power unit project through Red Bull Ford Powertrains. That made the event more than a routine livery show. It was a clear statement that the team wanted to frame 2026 as the beginning of a new technical chapter rather than just another season reset.
Red Bull also used the reveal to underline a visual change. The team described the design as a return to a gloss finish, a detail that connected the new car’s look to earlier Red Bull identities while still presenting it as the opening style of the Ford era. The actual 2026 car itself was shown later, but the Detroit event established the branding and visual direction first.
It was the first official public unveiling of Red Bull’s 2026 livery, and the first clear visual marker of how the team intended to present itself as the Ford partnership moved from announcement to reality.
